Where to find the best iconic weapons in Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 is packed with iconic weapons worth hunting down, and knowing exactly where to look saves you a lot of legwork. Here's a breakdown of some of the best iconic weapons in the game and how to get your hands on them:

  • La Chingona Dorada (Pistol) – Jackie Welles' signature gold Nue pistols. Complete the Heroes side job, then wait 24 in-game hours and return to El Coyote Cojo to find them on the altar. Every headshot stacks Crit Damage and Burn chance, and restocks ammo on re-equip. Missed it? Buy it from Herold Lowe at EBM Petrochem Stadium.

  • Crimestopper (Smart Pistol) – A powerful Smart weapon from Phantom Liberty. During the Heaviest of Hearts quest, find it inside a travel bag in VIP Room 06 at the Heavy Hearts club. It boosts Crit Chance by 33% when you swap to it and has a chance to upload Cripple Movement to enemies. Also available from Herold Lowe if missed.

  • BFC 9000 (One-Handed Club) – A blunt melee weapon with a 69% Crit Chance boost above 50% Stamina and 50% increased range. Head to the Dam Viewpoint in Rancho Coronado, get to the far end of the dam, look over the edge facing Rancho Coronado, and find Hugo Selvig on a ledge below. Alternatively, purchase it from Herold Lowe at EBM Petrochem Stadium.

  • Caretaker's Spade (Hammer) – A Witcher 3 easter egg weapon obtained during Knockin' on Heaven's Door. Look for it leaning against rocks in the central area of the Arasaka Tower jungle floor, near the conference table. It restores 12.5% health on every kill.

  • Amstaff (Shotgun, Phantom Liberty) – A Barghest-themed Tier 5+ iconic shotgun. Loot it from Airdrops after clearing Pit Bull. Kills and dismemberments stack movement speed bonuses, and moving faster directly increases your damage output.

  • Chinook (Assault Rifle, Phantom Liberty) – Another Barghest iconic from Airdrops, available after looting the Amstaff. Shares the same movement speed/damage synergy and 25% Armor Penetration bonus, making it a great pairing with Amstaff for an aggressive run-and-gun build.

  • Claw x-MOD2 (Throwable Axe, Phantom Liberty) – Found atop the Heavy Hearts club in Dogtown, this iconic axe supports two mod slots for heavy customization, making it one of the more flexible melee options in the DLC.

Keep in mind that several of these weapons can be purchased from Herold Lowe at EBM Petrochem Stadium as a fallback, so you won't permanently miss out on most of them even if you don't grab them in the field.
