How to romance Judy in Cyberpunk 2077

Romancing Judy Álvarez is one of the most rewarding storylines in Cyberpunk 2077, but it requires a female V with a feminine body type and voice — and careful choices across several quests before the romance fully unlocks.

Requirements First

• You must play as a female V with a feminine body type and voice (genitalia do not matter).
• Complete Judy's questline in order: Both Sides, Now → Ex-Factor → Talkin' 'bout a Revolution → Pisces → Pyramid Song.

Key Steps to Unlock the Romance

1. Both Sides, Now – Respond to Judy's call and support her through Evelyn's death. This builds the foundation of your relationship.
2. Ex-Factor – Help Judy confront Maiko at Clouds. You can optionally kill Woodman here for revenge.
3. Talkin' 'bout a Revolution – Assist Judy in rallying the dolls. You can stay the night on her couch if you wish; this is also a good moment to open up to her about the relic.
4. Pisces – This quest has a critical branching point:
   • Do NOT accept Maiko's bribe. Accepting it will permanently lock you out of Pyramid Song and the romance.
   • You can accept Maiko's deal without the bribe, or reject it entirely. Rejecting the deal and keeping Maiko alive earns you a goodbye cheek kiss from Judy as a bonus.

The Romance: Pyramid Song

Once Pisces is resolved correctly, Judy will call and invite you to Laguna Bend Reservoir. During the mission:

1. Meet Judy in the early evening and follow all the diving objectives with her.
2. After V passes out underwater and Judy gets you both to safety, she locks herself in the bathroom feeling distressed.
3. Go in and comfort her — this is the critical scene.
4. When the moment arrives, kiss Judy. You get up to two chances to kiss her; the first is right after sitting beside her, the second after choosing to comfort her first.
5. Kissing her leads to Judy taking V's hand, bringing her to bed, and the two spending the night together.

The Morning After

When you wake up, find Judy sitting on the dock outside and talk to her. She'll ask what the previous night meant to you:

• Choose "A pleasant distraction" → Judy leaves Night City permanently and deletes you from her contacts. Romance over.
• Choose any other positive option (e.g., "The beginning of something amazing") → Judy decides to stay in Night City for you, and grants you access to her apartment anytime.

After this, Judy can be visited in her apartment, will send you affectionate texts, and leaves you exclusive gifts including the Mox shotgun and special MaxTac gear. Make the right choices and you'll have one of Night City's most heartfelt relationships locked in.
